Crop Production In Zimbabwe

A wide range of crops grows in Zimbabwe, including maize, soybean, tobacco, cotton, sugarcane and a range of horticultural crops – all of which are grown from small to large. scale levels. This range of crops as well as the diversity that exists across the five different farming regions in Zimbabwe call for a variety of different fertilizers.

For many of these crops the more popular and commonly used basal blends are used, but in some cases more specialised prescription blends will come into play. At Superfert we work with the farmer through a soil test report in order to come up with the best blend for each specific farm. Fertilization is our business, and a satisfied customer with a bumper harvest is our goal.

Our basal fertilizers are predominantly comprised of the three macronutrients nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K), with the P and K coming in the phosphate and potash form. In addition, nutrients such as Sulphur (S), Boron (B), Copper (Cu), Magnesium (Mg), Manganese (Mn) and Zinc (Zn) can be added to our blends as per your crop needs. We also offer a wide range of top dressing fertilizers to deliver desired nutrients later in the growing season. Whatever the farmer needs we have the right ingredients to achieve the formula for success.
